Surface Scan Optical Ground Tracking: Auto-Pilot Stage 1 includes a tiny camera sensor on the underside of the drone that tracks and analyzes surface patterns at nearly 200 times per second.This process, known as optical flow, lets your drone detect motion in any horizontal direction. Combine this with vertical data from a built-in barometer and your drone becomes precisely aware of movement in ALL directions.
