Bullyland - African Elephant Calf
Bullyland - African Elephant Calf
There are two types of elephants: the Indian elephant and the African elephant. The African elephant has much larger ears compared to the Indian elephant. During the dry season, elephants use their trunks and tusks to dig deep holes in search of water. Elephants feed exclusively on plants, e.g. hay, green fodder, leaves, tree bark, roots and fruit. They eat about 170 kg of fresh plants per day. At 100 liters per day, their water requirement is very high and essential for survival. The baby elephants are 1 meter tall and weigh 100 kilograms immediately after birth. The gestation period is 20 - 22 months, i.e. almost 2 years. The PVC-free play figure from Bullyland is approx. 6 cm tall and is hand-painted true to life. Awarded the "spiel gut" seal of approval. Age: from 3 years. ATTENTION: Not suitable for children under 3 years, contains small parts - danger of suffocation!
